Richard passed away April 26, 2022 at the age of 74 from complications of Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. Born to Orville and Carrie Tomchak Vadnais in Idaho Falls on November 1, 1947, Richard was raised in Kilgore and attended the first eight years of school at Kilgore elementary, graduating from Clark Co. High School in Dubois 1966, where he was a standout in, specifically basketball, football and track.

May 3, 2022 11:47 AMI have very fond memories of all the years we visited the Vadnais ranch in Kilgore. I specifically remember the hospitality that Carrie and Orville always showed my family. The ranch buildings provided us kids a perfect place to play hide and seek. Richard, Sharon and Larry always had ideas for fun: - Cards and board games:) What a kind heart Richard had and I know his parents will be overjoyed to see him in Heaven, My thoughts and prayers are with you Sharon and Larry. There was always a smile on Richard’s face and a twinkle in his eyes. Our loss is Heaven’s gain.
