Our beloved Lisa passed away on February 25, 2023 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Lisa was born in Granite City, IL and graduated from Granite City High School in 1977.  After moving to Edwardsville, IL and working various jobs she sold all her possessions, took her remaining pets and moved to Juneau, AK to be a veterinary technician.  Her love and care for animals was always present in her life.

She married Greg Lindsay in Twin Falls, ID in 2005.

In addition to her family and animals Lisa loved her St. Louis Cardinals, the Wizard of Oz, all things Volkswagen, Frank Sinatra, and sharing her rubber duck collection with the neighborhood.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, James Kenney, her mother, Mary Newman Kenney, and brothers Joey and Greg Kenney.

She is survived by her husband Greg, sisters Deborah Voumard, Melanie (Steve) Meyer, Valerie Kenney, brother Monte (Diane) Kenney and her cousin Phyllis Hartman.  And in her own unique and beautiful way she mothered Sean (Amanda) Lindsay, Ryan Lindsay and grandmothered Blaire and Colin Lindsay.

No service is planned.  If you feel moved to give a gift in her memory please consider the Snake River Animal Shelter. Special thanks to EIRMC and to Aspen Home Health and Hospice.

Lisa's light, love and smile will be present in our hearts alway.
