Wilma Esther Hough Schoonover

Wilma Esther Schoonover, 78, of Fruitland, passed away in her sleep Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 20th at Park View Cemetery, New Plymouth with Pastor Mike Allen officiating. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Fruitland. Condolences may be made to Wilma's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. She was born July 1, 1934, in Lebanon, MO, to Roy and Thelma (Sing) Hough. She married Marvin Schoonover Dec. 1, 1951; he preceded her in death in 1983. Wilma was a member of the Payette Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by five daughters, Shirley Bort of Phoenix, AZ, Melanie Bruch of Sacramento, CA, Vicki Bright of Caldwell, ID, Tracy Weissgerber of Tempe, AZ, and Robin Rourke of Turner, OR; two sons, Alan Schoonover of Scottsdale, AZ and Byron Schoonover of Fruitland, ID; one brother and three sisters; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a brother and grandson.
