Robert Jay Allen came into the world on August 18, 1971, in Fort Hood, Texas. His first 10 years were spent in various foster care homes. He experienced much hardship throughout those years. He had to siblings, Anna Kathleen Allen and Donald Gordon Allen. All three joined our family in 1980. They were officially adopted and were christened with our family name on June 21, 1981.

Bob had some issues that prevented him from success in school. He worked through elementary and middles school but wasn't able to move on. We thank all the patient teachers who gave it their best!

Eventually, he needed full-time observation and entered a full-tim care facility. We thank Home Reach for managing his care for the last 15 years.

Along the way, he enjoyed riding horses, hunting and fishing. He loved his dog Snickers to the end.

Though Bob had a lot of difficulty in his life, he always remained sweet. He weathered life's tests, never giving up. He died of an accidental fall on December 25, 2025 at the age of 54, in Idaho Falls, Bonneville County, Idaho. We thank Buck-Murphy Funeral Home for assisting with his interment.

We are thanful that he was able to go back to his Heavenly Father. We are certain that he has found the happiness all of God's children are assured. We look forward to meeting our son and brother again. We love you Bob.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, at 11:00 AM at the Rigby 4th Ward located at 401 W 1st Street, in Rigby, Idaho. Burial will be held at the Sutton Cemetery.
