Norma Deane (Evans) Beale passed away August 19, with her family at her side. She was born in Winslow, AZ. To Charles Evans and Ida Brinkerhoff. In her early childhood her family moved to Orville, CA. When she was 12 years old she moved to Mesa, AZ. with her older sister Lois and her mother.

Norma graduated from Mesa High School in 1953. She attended BYU, majoring in Children’s Literature and Library Science.

Norma was introduced to her future husband Arden Beale by her college roommate Carol Crockett. At the end of the school year she was invited to join the family of Laverne and Margaret Crockett in Idaho Falls.

Norma and Arden’s relationship flourished and they were married on June 8, 1957.

Norma started her career as a librarian at Theresa Bunker and Edgemont elementary schools. She retired in 2000 to enjoy her family, travels, and hobbies. Christmas was a special time for her. Machine embroidery was her favorite hobby. She spent many hours sewing personalized Christmas cards for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Arden, daughters Michelle Angle and Lisa Russom. Grandsons Ryan Russom and David Angle, granddaughter Danielle Angle, and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Norma requested a donation to the Humane Society or Idaho Youth Ranch.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Norma will be missed.
