Marie Louise (Vert) Hibbard lost her fight with cancer and was called home on April 28, 2026.

Marie was born in Plentywood, Montana, on March 3, 1950, to Clara (Vert) Moriconi and Ernest Vert, where she grew up with her five sisters and two brothers. She met the love of her life, Robert E Hibbard, while boating at Brush Lake in 1967.They were married in Plentywood MT on July 20, 1968.

They moved to Idaho Falls, ID in September of 1975 and made it their home, where they raised their children; Travis James (Veronica) Hibbard, Rachel Christine (Travis) Arave, Aaron Matthew Hibbard, and Randy Lee Hibbard, eventually adding ten grandchildren and fourteen (and counting) great grandchildren.

She lived a simple quiet life and instilled God’s loving hand as well as the seeds of love upon her family, friends, and everyone she met. Marie and Rob fostered three newborn babies, temporarily named Keith, Melissa, and Amy, who were adopted into loving homes in Idaho. They also ministered to many children and young teens; leading them to know Christ. Marie is now walking with Christ, and family who have preceded her in death.

Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
