Louise Mae (Devlin) Schrack

January 2, 1929 — February 13, 2020

Louise M Schrack passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 13, 2020 at the age of 91. She was born on January 2, 1929 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where she lived for the next 24 years until 1953. For the next 16 years from 1953 until 1969, she travelled and lived around the U.S. and the world in El Paso, Texas; Lawton, Oklahoma; Omaha, Nebraska; Jacksonville, Florida; Yokohama, Japan; Darmstadt, Germany; and Heidelberg, Germany. She then lived for the next 40 years from 1969 to 2009 in Alexandria, Virginia and at Lake Anna, Virginia. From 2009 through 2010 Louise lived with her son in Colorado Springs, Colorado before moving to a retirement center in Port St. Lucie, Florida. After two years there, she moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho where she lived at the MorningStar retirement center for the next 8 years from 2012 until 2020.

She is preceded in death by her parents James H. and Minerva Devlin of Jacksonville, Florida; her brothers Arthur Devlin of Crystal River, Florida and James Devlin of Stuart, Florida, and her daughter Terri Kalafa of Woodbridge, Virginia.

Louise is survived by her brother Alfred of Port St. Lucie, Florida; her son David and his wife Mary of Idaho Falls; son-in-law Ron from Delray Beach, Florida; grandchildren Spencer, Darren and wife Elizabeth, Mason and wife Kate, Devon and husband Geoff; Evan and wife Elli; and great grandchildren Avery, Afton, and Emerson.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Buck- Miller-Hahn Funeral Home in Idaho Falls and internment will be at the Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas, Virginia.
