LaRae Thornbrough

La Rae was born to Merrit and Lillith (Eriksen) Hepworth. She was the oldest of 9 children.
LaRae was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in February 1939.
Several years after her high school graduation (in Idaho), LaRae was called to serve a mission for the church. She served in the Florida, Georgia and South Carolina missions. She was living in California after her mission.
LaRae met the love of her life, Lee Thornbrough while she lived in California. They were married for 6 very happy years before Lee passed away.
She retired from Western Union and moved back to Idaho. She then served another mission to New York, New York.
Genealogy was a passion for LaRae, she served the church one last time at the Family History Center in Twin Falls, Idaho for many years.
LaRae is survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother; LaRene (Carl) Karaba, Edda June (Kermin) Pineo and Seth Edward (Barbara) Hepworth. She also has several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 5 siblings; Della, Junior, Unas Ethel, William and Carma Jean.
Funeral services for LaRae will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Birch Street LDS Church, 222 Birch Street in Kimberly, Idaho at 2 p.m. with a viewing one hour prior at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at the Hazelton Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park."
