Ken T Jenkins

January 31, 1945 — April 29, 2018

Ken was a graduate of Idaho Falls High School and following, completed school with trade work. Afterwards, Ken married Sandra Hawkins, high school sweet heart, following high school and together, they had two sons, Rod and Shane. They later divorced. Ken then married Margret Elg where he took on four more boys: Mike, Chuck, Boyd, and James. Ken and Margret were together for many years and later divorced. During his career, Ken worked at Idaho National Laboratory as a er for 20 years until he retired at the age of 45 due to medical reasons. Ken was a permanent customer at North Highway Café, always enjoyed getting a cup of coffee with his buddies every day. Ken was a rancher, he enjoyed spending time with the horses and cows as well as he enjoyed time outdoors, camping and fishing in the boat. Ken loved his grandchildren and never missed a birthday party.
Ken is survived by his sons and their wives, Rod and Tonia Jenkins (Idaho Falls, ID), Shane and Adeanna Jenkins (Twin Falls, ID), his brother and his wife, Dick and Mary Kay Jenkins (Idaho Falls, ID), 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018, 6-8 p.m. at Buck Miller Hann Funeral Home and one hour before services on Friday. A funeral service will be held in Ken's honor, Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with graveside services following at the Shelley Hillcrest cemetery. Ken Thomas Jenkins, lifelong resident of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away April 29, 2018. He was 73 years old.
