Karen Luann Miller

Karen Luann Miller, age 58, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 in her home in New Plymouth, ID, surrounded by loved ones. Karen was born in Oakdale, CA on Jan. 9th, 1960 to Norman and Mary Swank and was the fourth of five children. She married in Oakdale, CA to Michael Lee Miller on April 29, 1979. Karen was preceded in death by her loving father Norman Sr. and her beloved brother Norman Jr. She is survived by her loving mother Mary; her beloved siblings Terry, Kathy, and Jeff; her devoted husband Mike; her cherished children Heidi and Daniel; and all of her adored grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In June of 1993 Karen moved to New Plymouth, ID where she became an active member of the First Baptist Church. She valued love, loyalty, and learning. She was kind and considerate and her feelings ran very deep. She was very strong willed and if she had an opinion on something she was usually right. Her memorial service will be at First Baptist Church of New Plymouth, 204 Elm Street; by Pastor Phil Pittman on Friday Dec. 21st at 5:00 pm.
