Janice E. Triebwasser

October 20, 1941 — January 16, 2017

Janice Evonne Triebwasser Janice Evonne (Seibel) Triebwasser, 75, of Kimberly passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at her home in Kimberly, Idaho after a short battle with cancer. Janice was born on October 20, 1941 in Harvey, North Dakota the daughter of Samuel and Marie (Zelmer) Seibel. She grew up and attended country school and later Harvey High School where she graduated in 1959. She continued her education at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas. Janice moved to Filer, Idaho in 1962 where she met and married Jay "Bud" Hannebaum. They married in 1963 and had 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. They later divorced. In 1988 she moved back to Harvey, North Dakota and in 1989 she met the love of her life, Paul Triebwasser. They were married in April 1996. Together they loved to travel and looked forward to retirement. In 2000 Paul and Janice moved down to Jacksonville, Florida and in 2004 they returned back to North Dakota. In 2007 Paul passed away from Leukemia and they were never able to have the "retirement fun" they so looked forward to. After living alone in North Dakota for 5 years after Paul's passing, Janice moved to Brighton, Tennessee to live with her daughter and care for her 2 grandchildren, Marrisa and Scarlette. Even though she was retired she took on a full time job of babysitting; which was probably the toughest job she ever took on having to choose between discipline and spoiling them. In August 2015 Janice, Tressa and the girls moved back to Idaho to be closer to family. Janice loved her children and grandchildren dearly and was so happy to be closer to them all. Janice enjoyed shopping, reading, traveling, knick knacks and anything pretty. She had a deep love for her Lord Jesus Christ and looked forward to meeting Him one day. She was a faithful follower and attended church every Sunday wherever she may have been. Janice and her sister attended many Southern Gospel concerts where Legacy Five was playing. Along her way she made many lifelong friends that meant the world to her. Janice is survived by her ever loving fur-baby, Jasper; two sons, Todd (Brandy) Hannebaum of Kimberly, Idaho; Trent (Julie) Hannebaum of Renton, Washington; her daughter, Tressa (Jeff) Purviance of Twin Falls, Idaho; as well as 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, LaVella of Harvey, North Dakota; one brother, Ralph of Fort Benton, Montana; brother-in-law, Larry Triebwasser of Lucedale, Mississippi; sister-in-law, Paulette (Stanley) Reiswig and Tina Triebwasser of Bismarck, North Dakota; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Paul; father, Samuel; mother, Marie; brothers, Archie and Wesley; sister, Elsie; father-in-law, Leo; mother-in-law, Vera; sister-in-law, Rosella; and brothers-in-law, Delmer and Jake. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Cornerstone Community Church in Harvey, North Dakota. Burial will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. There will be a celebration of Janice's Life at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January, 29, 2017 at the Filer Nazarene Church in Filer, Idaho.
