Eleanor Pauline Derryberry

August 6, 1937 — July 25, 2015

Eleanor Pauline Derryberry, age 77, of Payette, passed away July 25, 2015 from complications of pneumonia at St. Luke's Hospital - Meridian with all her family by her side. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Riverside Cemetery, Payette. Pastor Andrew Williams of the Payette United Methodist Church will be officiating. Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Condolences may be made to Pauline's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com.
Pauline was born Aug. 6, 1937 in Weiser, ID to Albert and Ellen Bowen. Pauline was an only child. She met Don Derryberry and they were married on Nov. 6, 1958 in Sacramento, CA. They lived various place before settling with their family in Payette in 1971.
She was a bookkeeper for D & B Supply in Ontario for 30 years, where she retired from. She was a lifetime D & B Supply card holder and was very proud of this honor for all her hard work over the years.
Pauline loved her family and enjoyed any time spent together. She had a large group of friends she enjoyed spending time with. She was an avid supporter of the Payette Swimming Pool. She loved spending time with friends going to movies, local music entertainers, and meals together. Pauline enjoyed sewing, crafting and was an avid reader her entire life. She also enjoyed cooking for people, spending time with family and her wonderful network of friends.
She is survived by daughters, Verna (Dan) Collingwood of Caldwell and Susan (Mike) Kurth of Ontario; son, Wayne (Kim) Derryberry of Layton, UT; grandchildren, Jason (Nichole) Collingwood, Bryan (Jessica) Collingwood, Joseph (Heather) Kurth, Laura (Aaron) LeBoutiller, Monica (Nick) Murach, Deidre and Shaye Derryberry and Angela Kerner; four step-grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
The family would like to thank everyone at St. Luke's Hospital - Meridian for the excellent care she was given during her last days.
