Caroline M Davis

Caroline M. (Faust) Davis passed away at her home on March 4,2024. On June 12, 1930 she was born to Edwin and Elsie Faust in Idaho Falls, Idaho and was raised on the family farm in the New Sweden area. She married the love of her life, Dan W. Davis on June 9, 1950. They had two boys and two girls that they raised in their family home in Ririe. After sharing a love filled marriage for forty-two years, her beloved Dan passed away after a lengthy illness in 1993. Caroline had a busy life raising her children, she helped Dan with his books at the mill, she also was a kindergarten teacher in the late 60’s, then she eventually became a caregiver to Dan and her final career in life was as a clerk at Brown’s grocery until it closed its doors. In her later years she enjoyed time with her grandchildren and her multiple crafts. Caroline was preceded in death by her parents Edwin & Elise , sisters Helen June & Margaret, brother Edwin Jr (Sonny), husband Dan, brother in law Ken, and son in law Doyle She is survived by her sisters Noreen & Dorthy, Children John, Carol, Susan, Paul, five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Services will be held on March 11, at 11am at First Lutheran Church, 455 Sunnyside Rd, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Interment to follow at New Sweden Cemetery.
