Carol Bauerle Schwarze was born on January 20, 1938 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the second daughter of Victor and Metta Jorgensen Bauerle.
She grew up on the family farm in Hamer, Idaho on Camas creek near Mud Lake. Along with her sisters, Evelyn and Judy they pitched in on the farm work
learning the importance of hard work which she carried throughout her life.
She attended elementary school in Hamer then graduated from Roberts High School in 1956. When she was about 16 she met Kenneth Schwarze from the Milo, Idaho area while he was working with her dad and running cattle near Mud Lake.
They were engaged at Christmas of her senior year of high school. They married in Salmon, Idaho March 19, 1957 and moved to the Schwarze family farm.
They then purchased the farm and settled in to farming and raising a family.
Kathryn was born June 10. 1958 followed by Marilyn on December 24, 1960.
Carol was preceeded in death by her husband, Kenneth, her older sister, Evelyn, her parents and grandparents.
She is survived by her sister Judy (Dick) Morris of Buhl, Idaho. Daughter Kathryn (Tom) Bonn of Salmon, ID and their son Kenneth Bonn. Daughter Marilyn (Allen) Swan of Hazelton, ID and Marilyn's children Alanna (David) Shuldberg and children Baylee, Brooklyn and Ryker of Pocatello, and Austin (Lindsy) Stigile and children Charlotte and Quinn of Pocatello.
Carol passed away December 18, 2023 at Promontory Point Rehabilitation Center in Idaho Falls.
The family wishes to sincerely thank everyone at Promontory Point for the wonderful, compassionate care they showed Carol and the help and kindness they showed the family. They were exceptional.
Services are under the direction of Buck-Murphy Funeral Home in Idaho Falls, ID.
There will be a visitation held for Carol Friday, January 5, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at Buck-Murphy Funeral Home with services Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00 at Buck-Murphy Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th St. Idaho Falls, ID. Interment will be at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery followed by dinner and gathering with family at the Shilo Inn, Idaho Falls, ID.
