Audrey Louise Smout

Audrey Louise Smout, 89, Idaho Falls, Idaho passed away on February 20, 2017 at Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living. Mrs. Smout was born on February 27, 1927 in Ceres, California.
Audrey was raised in Santa Cruz, Ca. in the loving care of her Grandma and Grandpa Marchand where she loved playing on the boardwalk. At age 18 she moved to Stockton where she met her future husband, Ray E. Smout, who had just returned from the Pacific in WWII. They married in Reno on June 9, 1945. They made their home in Rigby, Idaho as well as Idaho Falls where their two daughters were born, Raeola and Bonnie. Later they moved to Blackfoot where they farmed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray E. Smout; her father Frank A. Higby; her mother Olive Higby; her brother Frank Higby and her grandparents.
Survivors include; children Raeola(Bruce) Kelso, Bonnie(John) Kramer; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; & 1 great-great-great grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Eastern Idaho in lieu of flowers.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
